■ステートメント
安倍政権の自己中心的で、でたらめな行いに声をあげたくなるのは当然だろう。
2020年の春、北海道の街頭演説中の安倍晋三首相に「安倍やめろ」とヤジ飛ばした人物が警察に囲まれ、その場から排除された。
また、安倍政権に反対する文章を書いたプラカードが掲げた人物にも、警察官が制止させた。
日本は言論の自由さえ警察官を使って圧力をかけるような国になってしまったのか。

本作品は、ミズ・テツオ氏のフラッグシリーズインスパイアされたもので、国際信号旗をモチーフにしている。

■Statement
It's only natural to want to speak out against the self-centered and outrageous actions of the Abe administration.
In the spring of 2020, a man who heckled Prime Minister Shinzo Abe with "Abe, quit!" during a street speech in Hokkaido was surrounded by police and removed from the scene.
Furthermore, police officers restrained a person holding a placard with a message opposing the Abe administration.
Has Japan become a country where even freedom of speech is suppressed using the police?

This work is inspired by Mizu Tetsuo's Flag series and uses international signal flags as a motif.
