■ステートメント
ロバート・インディアナの《LOVE》をオマージュしつつ、角度によって「LOVE」に相対する文字を孕む。視点のズレ、解釈の変化、情報の捉え方により、感情が簡単に転化してしまう現代のリアリティを象徴している。特にSNSにより、極端な意見ほど拡散されやすいアルゴリズムの中で、「余白」や「曖昧さ」は見失われがちだ。
エコーチェンバーの中で育まれた「正義」や「共感」は、時に一瞬で「憎しみ」や「攻撃」に姿を変える。
本来、私たちの感情の中には「leeway＝ゆとり・余白」が存在していたはずだ。
この作品は、「LOVE」と「HATE」という対極の間にこそ、私たちの人間らしさがあることを問いかけ、忘れつつある余白を可視化する試みである。

■Statement
Paying homage to Robert Indiana's "LOVE," this work contains letters that are the opposite of "LOVE" depending on the angle. It symbolizes the modern reality where emotions can easily transform due to shifts in perspective, changes in interpretation, and how information is perceived. Especially on social media, where extreme opinions tend to spread easily, "whitespace" and "ambiguity" are easily lost in the algorithms that facilitate this.
"Justice" and "empathy" nurtured within echo chambers can sometimes instantly transform into "hatred" and "aggression."
Originally, there should have been "leeway"—space and margin—within our emotions.
This work questions whether our humanity lies in the space between the extremes of "LOVE" and "HATE," and attempts to visualize the forgotten whitespace.
